The conference will be held at the City Campus of Sheffield Hallam University in the Cantor Building. The plenary sessions, workshops, exhibition and day time catering will all take place in the Cantor Building. The venue is a short walk from the railway station, in the heart of the city. The grid layout of this area of the city has been maintained and previously was home to skilled metalwork craftsmen. Several of the old buildings have been retained, with innovative renovations to house cafés, apartments and even an award winning hairdressers.
All of the hotels are based in the city centre. Accommodation should be booked via the accommodation tab above, where you will find a range of hotels, to suit all budgets.

Regular inter-city services operate between Sheffield and other main line towns and cities. London is two-and-a-half hours away by train, Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham one hour and Edinburgh four hours.
Sheffield's Train Station is just a two minute walk away from our City Campus.
The City Campus is approximately ten minutes from junction 33 of the M1, a two minute walk from Sheffield's railway station and right next to Sheffield's bus and tram transport interchange.
Road and rail links
Sheffield's motorway link is the M1, junctions 33 and 34.You are recommended to leave at junction 33 and proceed into the city centre by way of the Parkway (A630).
Sheffield's National coach service for long distance travel is comprehensive and efficient. Its central pick up and terminal point is at the Transport Interchange.
